The US won't attempt to track down Bin Laden for if he were captured, it would create m-hysteria? Agree?

The United States won't attempt to capture Osama Bin Laden because if he were captured, it would stir outcry throughout the Islamic world. The United States would be attacked like never before by radical Islamic extremists, and Al Qaeda would likewise be attacked like never before -- something that could possibly give more support for jihad throughout the Islamic world. Plus, it would be near impossible to bring Bin Laden to justice -- not only would the entire world go insane like never before over who gets to try him, but actually trying him would be, essentially, impossible -- he'd either be killed, the country would go into m-hysteria, or worse. Hence why the US government, under Bush, neither supported nor argued with speculation that Bin Laden might be dead. Do you agree with this argument? Why or why not?
