How do I "lock the Fn key" on my Dell Inspiron 15 notebook?

Hi, I've been trying forever to fix this problem of mine. I recently just got a new laptop (Dell Inspiron 15) and I don't like the fact that it has the F1~F12 in BLUE (meaning I have to use Fn) and the other functions such as battery meter, wireless toggle, volume controls, brightness, etc in white (meaning its just a on press without Fn). Whenever I want to use an F# key, I'd have to press Fn. Is there any way to "lock" they Fn key? Or if not, at least reverse its function so that F# is a single press without the Fn? Keep in mind, I've searched around on the web and everything says "try pressing Fn+Scroll Lock/Num Lock", but my computer DOES NOT HAVE EITHER OF THOSE TWO ONS! The only lock I have is Caps Lock, but that doesn't seem to help me here. Any ideas?

Why is my son constantly waking up at approximately the same time every night?

My son is 19 years old, enrolled in his second year of pre law studies at a large university in the north. Through his entire childhood and teen years he had been an extremely deep sleeper; until the middle of last November. At this time he began to experience severe insomnia, which was shocking for its extreme contrast to his previous sleep patterns. It reached its absolute worst near Christmas; at that time he sought the advice of a psychologist,and also began a new relationship, and has been steadily improving;he is now able to fall asleep rapidly, as in the past. However, one very irritating symptom remains: every night between 4-4:30 am, he awakes; sleep usually returns fairly quickly, but nonetheless it is exceptionally inconvenient. When i speak to him on the phone he sounds completely exhausted. Is there something to explain this sudden, and lingering, change? When he returned home for Christmas he appeared to have cystic acne, another sharp transition.. Could the two phenomena be linked? Or is this simply a reaction to stress?

A long while back (long enough for the details to become scetchy) I lost my GOTY edition and started the game again on the none goty edition, but before that I rember on one of my many many "where the heck am I meant to be going" exploration missions, I stumbled into this really strange tower type thing, and after going inside and fighting lots of monsters I found this item (kinda like a trophy cup) and when given the choice, I used it instead of keeping it for some quest. it lowered one of my stats (strentgh, intelgence, etc) to 5 and the other up to 100, I never found out what it was or what quest was meant to be involved with me getting it. and since I was here I wanted to ask. There are many tight ends in the game that are overshadowed by there teams lack of gameplan or talent around them which disables them to get the ball as much as some high profile tight ends such as todd heap and jeremy shocky. A tight-end from maryland University who ran a 4.3 fourty yard dash that plays for the 49ers has the most "potential" and "talent" in the league in my opinion. Vernon Davis will have a chance to be polished into a blocking TE as well as work on his receiving skills while in Mike Martz offense. Of course Tony Gonzalez is the best active TE in the game as far as stats and records but is no where near his prime. You havent heard much about Alge crumpler either since he was traded to Tennessee. Kellen Winslow is also an amazing talent but doesnt have the coaching staff or talent this year as they did last year when his stats were decent. I would say Jason Witten or Jeremy shockey (when healthy and happy lol) are the Te's to look up to at this point in the NFL but i think that Shockey had a sports hernia and is out 4-6 weeks

What should I do in this situation? It's been bothering me for a while now?

One of my friend gets extra help in school. To be honest, it bothers me. When she gets a better grade than me like a 93 and I get a 90, she sort of brags about it. She is clified as having a learning disability by the school. We had midterms this week and I had 5 midterms which were English, Algebra, Global (Social Studies), Earth Science (10th grade cl and I'm in 9th grade), and French. She only has 4 midterms which consist of English, Math (Below grade level), Global (Same cl as me), and Biology (9th grade level cl). We are both in 9th grade. I am not below grade level in any of my cles. She has a math cl where they are doing I think fifth grade level math and she doesn't get it. Anyways, when she brags that she gets a better grade, it bothers me. I have to take a foreign language, but she doesn't. The school doesn't require her to. I have to study for French and that's why I might not have a lot of time to study for another class. I am a smart kid, but I have more core classes than her. She got today and tomorrow off from midterms because she finished hers yesterday because she doesn't take a foreign language. She also complains that she doesn't have a study hall in her schedule, but I do. She actually has Speech everyday where the teacher will help you with your homework and she has a math tutorial where she does homework in there also. I feel like that is basically a study hall, but called something else. She also gets extended time on her tests, including her midterms. I left my global midterm at 10:50 which is 10 minutes before people without extended time have to leave. She was still there. The next day, I asked her when she left the midterm because I wanted to talk about something. We were bored and she said that she left at 10:45. I was going to say that I was there at 10:50 when she was still there when I left, but I thought she didn't want to say that she probably used some of her extra time. She can't explain things well at all. She says the word "stuff" a lot when she is trying to explain something or when we are talking about something. She also asks way too many questions even when the teacher answered them already. For example, the teacher would say that we can leave after we were done and she would ask if we could leave when we're done like 10 minutes later. I was about to say to her that the teacher just said that already. I feel like she totally takes advantage of her extra help. She asks way too many questions and asks them in a different form. For example, she would ask what homework questions to do. The teacher would tell her which ones and she would ask it in a different form and point to them and ask if they are the ones to do for homework. She always gets extra help from the teacher on a test in global. She would do this even on the easiest questions. We have two teachers in the room for global because some students like her need that in the class. I feel like she doesn't do enough work as she's supposed to because she gets extra help a lot. She also gets extra help almost everyday at lunch from her biology teacher. She had more time to study for each midterm than I did. This bothers me a lot. Sorry if I just went on and on about it, but that's how I feel and what I've noticed about the situation. What should I do? This is really bothering me. Thanks.

I had some problems in the beginning with feeding, but now my baby does latch on. I feel the suction and it looks as is if he's swallowing. After about 15-20 mins he will fall asleep at the nipple. I would put him to bed and 5 mins later he'll start crying--sucking his hands like crazy. I'll putt him back on the and this will continue for about 3-4 times. After that I'll give him 2 oz of formula and he gulps it down. I can tell he is hungry because I hear his poor little tummy growl. I've tried all day to feed but it usually ends after many trys and me giving him a bottle....he acts so hungry when i finally give him a bottle. Is it possible to suck like a pacifier and not get any milk??

Why won't our 4 week old baby finch fly?

My breeding pair of Zebra Finches had a successful clutch of three this time around, and while two seem to be thriving (leaving the nest, learning to eat on their own, etc) the third refused to leave the nest. The mother and father have both tried pushing him out to no avail, so I reached in to bump him out, this is when I discovered that he cannot fly. Straight to the bottom of the cage he went, and this is where he sits for 10 hours a day. Landlord won't allow me to use my last months rent deposit towards last months rent! Is this legal?

I live in Marion County Florida. When I rented my home in July of 2010 I signed a1 year lease. I gave the landlord (real estate property manager) First and last month's rent ($1350 each) plus one month Security Deposit ($1350) plus a $250 non refundable pet deposit. I just notified them that we will not be renewing our lease and he told me I can not use my last months rent (that I gave when I signed the lease) to pay July's rent. That they hold the last months rent until after we move out. I have to pay July's rent and after inspection of the home I would receive both last months rent and deposit back (if everything checked out ok). This doesnt seem right to me. We just bought a home and don't want to have to pay two rent/mortgage payments in July. He said if I don't pay July's rent he will process an eviction on July 3rd! Is this legal? Thank you.

I'd look for a GeForce 9600 GT or 9600 GSO. They can be had for around $100 usually less. The are basically rebaged GeForce 8800 GS's. If you can spend a little more. the GeForce 8800 GT is a good choice. The GeForce 8600 GT w/ DDR3 is pretty solid. but the 8600 series boards with DDR2 are worthless. As far as resellers go, I've had good luck with Evga and BFG. Keep in mind your CPU will become a bottleneck with any of these cards. Good luck.

Hello, I have searched and searched and searched for weight guidelines for pregnant women who are above their recommend trimester weight based off of their pre-pregnancy weight. Let me give you an example to better clarify my question. Let's say we have a woman with a prepregnancy weight of 140 lbs and she is 5'5. She is in her 3rd trimester on day 206 but she weighs 180 lbs. Her maximum allowable weight gain based on her prepregnancy BMI would be 175 lbs (uming at the end of the trimester). Now on average, this woman would need to eat about 384 kcal a day to gain the "average" recommended during her 29th week of pregnancy on day 206. What I'm wondering is, without prescribing that the woman lose weight, what would be an acceptable caloric restriction for this and other women? What if the woman was in her 2nd trimester and had "room to grow" but is still overweight based off her prepregnancy BMI? Is there a mathmatical formula or algorithm for calculating this weight gain guideline?

Ok before every one yells at me, My husband and I have custody of his two minor children. We live in South Africa, he is a USA citizen, our daughter was born in the USA his kids are South African as am I.
