Why can't we agree to disagree?

I am an atheist, but have absolutely zero issues with religious people. Believe whatever you want. However, all i ask is that you keep your religion where it belongs, in your repective places of worship and your own homes. I don't want religion in public schools. I don't want religious views put into common laws and I definitely don't want it knocking on my door, uninvited.
